Parikshit is derived from the Sanskrit name ‘Parikshan’ which means ‘Testing’. Parikshit Student Satellite Team started in 2010 merely as an idea of a few students of MIT. Today, Parikshit has constantly been learning and testing their skills in every aspect of building a nanosatellite.
The team has been working every day with an inspiration to turn the dream that started in 2010 into a reality. Parikishit Team has been constantly guided and monitored by various scientists from ISRO Satellite Centre (ISAC) and Vikram Sarabhai Space Centre (VSSC).
We have shown keen interest in taking the ambitious satellite program of India to a new height. We started off with an unrivaled passion and believe that we can revolutionize the field of space research in India with the right guidance and support.
Keeping this is as our goal, we at Parikshit Satellite Team hope to get a positive response from you to help us put satellite into the orbit.
